DeFranco Brocks is a passionate community leader, author, and creative entrepreneur with a lifelong commitment to social impact and cultural empowerment. As the former president of Movement Material Inc. and current Executive Committee Member of Hip Hop Congress, he has championed youth advocacy, arts, and education across diverse communities. An author of The Birth of a Movement, his work blends storytelling, hip hop, and activism to spark transformation. His experience spans from coaching and serving on the board of a team in Snoop Dogg's youth football league to collaborating with organizations like Artists United to End Homelessness. Currently a dedicated case manager, he supports adults, dislocated workers, and formerly incarcerated individuals in accessing training and employment opportunities. He also serves on the board of the Bronsley Community Resource Center and co-leads the apparel brand Hip Hop 4 the Pih Poh. A writer and producer of songs and podcasts, he is now launching a new media company and non-profit aimed at inspiring voices, building platforms, and driving change.
